Here it is again – another Vogue 1247 skirt! I used the fabric scraps from Freya’s birthday dress, and since I had used the pattern before this skirt was practically free to make! Except for the thread and invisible zipper. As before, I cut a straight size 12 but omitted the waistband completely and finished it with bias binding. Since the fabric was a stretch woven, I also took generous side seam allowances, more 6/8″ than 5/8″.... Continue Reading
