since forever. Why have I never attempted a knockoff?  It's a simple enough shape; it's just getting the colors right and the lines crisp.  Oh, is that all? I have 5-6 dresses in my inspiration file that have been there so long that they've become part of my mental furniture.  Maybe it's time to rearrange the furniture and drag these out into the cold light of day and see how they hold up.
